Personal Line of Credit

We understand that unexpected expenses are a part of life, but they don't have to be a financial burden. With a line of credit (LOC) you can easily access funds when you need to without overdrawing your checking account or depleting your savings.

No matter what, you'll be financially prepared for life's surprises.

A line of credit is essentially a pre-approved loan that provides you with funds as needed up to a set limit. LOCs are commonly used as overdraft protection on a checking account, but are also beneficial if you expect to have on-going expenses that don't require a large amount upfront.

  • Access to money when you need it
  • Flexible payments
  • Fixed rates
  • Link to your LSCU Checking account

3 Ways to Access Your Line Of Credit (LOC):

  1. Make a transfer in digital banking
  2. Call our Member Service Center or QUE-telephone banking
  3. Visit any LSCU location

Overdraft Protection

You can also link to your line of credit to your LSCU Checking account for overdraft protection. When your checking is overdrawn using a debit card or check, funds will be automatically transferred from your line of credit. You can withdraw cash from your LOC by choosing the "withdraw from credit card" option at ATMs. Debit cardholders can use up to $500 in LOC funds daily.
